Good Thor's Day here in our Florida radio station.

Hurry back Olivier 5 and McTag. (I just remembered that Sean Connery was Scottish)

Enjoyed both of your songs.

I was thinking about dear Sam Cooke today and recalled that he was killed in the Hacienda Motel in L.A. There is still some unresolved mysteries of his death.

First, a song of memory:

Now, a birthday guy with his friend.

When I see edgar's I Think thread, I recall Rene Descarte's quote:

I think, therefore I am. Smile

@edgarblythe,
edgar/Mark, thanks again for the personal acknowledgement and the comment.

As Peggy Lee says songs were meant to sing while we're young. Smile

Love The Pointer Sisters doing that Fire.

Wow! I stayed up too late last evening decorating, so our radio is late starting.

This isn't exactly looking back at happier times, but it's a memory with a fabulous poem.

I had stage fright at the time, but it made me stronger. I was supposed to do this fabulous poem, but I had German measles, so let me try it again:

Now, a fascinating young woman, but first some info:

Saki Fujita is a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, Japan represented by Arts Vision. She sang the ending theme to the anime Tokimeki Memorial Only Love, "Kiseki no Kakera", along with Yuki Makishima.

@tsarstepan,
Ah, my long time friend, loved Neil Young doing Fockin' In the Free World. It reminded me of FDR's four freedoms:

Freedom of speech
Freedom of worship
Freedom from want
Freedom from fear

Now, another Neil:

Saying good afternoon now. First, a remake of Moby Dick. We all know that it is an allegory:

I never see it that I don't think of the Yitwails. <sniff>

Now, a carol:

@Letty,
The new "Moby Dick movie" is actually about the legend that inspired Melville to write Moby Dick. It is not supposed to be his book.

Good morning from a rather chilly Florida radio station.

Hurry back, Latin George. Loved all three of your songs.

edgar, thanks for your explanation of "the legend". I think the allegory simply means, when you seek revenge you may cause the death of innocent people.

Here's the version that we watched here in our search:

Now, a tribute to a wonderful birthday Lady:

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment on "the little Sparrow".

Loved I Was Born to be With You by the Chordettes.

Remembering funnier times, when my late husband was told by the woman
where he tried to get Rich Little's Christmas carol:

"the onliest one we have it by is little Charlie Dickens. Smile

Miss you Debacle.
