@Letty,
Anyone planning on a cat nap?

Maybe this will help?

@tsarstepan,
Ah, my long time friend, Love that song as you know, and the two Tonyes reminded me of my nephew Tony who still lives in Virginia.

Thank you for a wonderful memory, tsar. I take cat naps all the time on my fouton here in our Florida radio station.

Another October Fest song now:

Saying good afternoon now. Thanks to our tsar, I remember happier times in Virginia when I was standing on Afton mountain looking down at the land owned by my ancestors. It also reminds me of Swannanoah that is now closed to the public.

Swans made for life.

Wonderful having Germany, France, Scotland with us, and Brooklyn of course.

Another October Fest. This was inspired by Neco Nomad when he did his Liberty Valence creation.

@tsarstepan,
Ah, my long time friend, I had no idea that James did Liberty Valance.

Here is the first one that I heard by that fabulous performer:

Saying good afternoon now as my daughter and I are going out to celebrate some October birthdays,

It was dear Bert Lee that told me Carole wrote this one for James Taylor. He is doing some better now.

Latin George, welcome back my long time friend.

Loved LaVerne doing VooDoo as well as A Nightmare Before Christmas by Jack.

The Were Wolves of London is one of my favorites.

Here are a couple to match your Halloween:

As my daughter and I came back from our October dinner, I saw a full moon setting over the water way and it reminded me of this classical:

Good Sunday morning from our radio station here in Florida.

Latin George, hurry back my long time friend. As you know, I love songs done acapella, and that one was great.

Thinking of Olivier 5 and his moustache and it reminded me of "the little tramp".

Our hymn for today. I was feeling a big gloomy and this one came to mind:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dA6Ysu0pbKw

Today is Stephen Crane's birthday and here is a poem by him:

There was a man with tongue of wood
Who essayed to sing,
And in truth it was lamentable.
But there was one who heard
The clip-clapper of this tongue of wood
And knew what the man
Wished to sing,
And with that the singer was content.

I loved The Red Badge of Courage, incidentally.
