ah, I was hoping that some of my long time friends would keep our Florida radio station going. Sad

Thinking of my late sister today. She is the one who introduced me to Al Jolson via Larry Parks, then McCarthy got him black listed.

First, Deano:

Great having England with us today. I wish McTag had come here as
I did Robert L. Stevenson's great song How Would You Like to go up in a swing.

Hurry back, Latin George. Loved Adele's Hello. She has a fantastic voice. Didn't know her, so thanks for the introduction.

The Ronettes Be My Baby was a great one as was Greg Allman's Just Another Rider.
Well, the day has just begun here in our Florida radio station, and here are three songs for the day.

Inspired by Adele's Hello, Here are England Dan and John Ford Colley. I used to thin that they were British and what a surprise to find out they were from Texas:

Good to have my daughter with me. Smile

Now, a birthday guy, and his poem reminds me of Robert Browning's.

@tsarstepan,
Welcome back, my long time friend. Trasveer was fantastic. As you know I love string instrument and the violin and cello were really soothing. Also enjoyed the clarinet and the grand piano.

Somehow, your lovely song reminded me of this one:

I had no idea that October Sky was a movie.

first, some info:

Plot Summary. In a 1950's mining town called Coalwood, Homer Hickam is a kid with only one future in sight, to work in the local coal mine like his father. However in October 1957, everything changes when the first artificial satellite, Sputnik goes into orbit.

Here is the theme:

Back later, dear friends.
