Ah, thinking about my long time friend Izzzie today. She sent me one, and I sent her one back.

First, eagles:

Now, Perry:

Now, another fond memory of my son. When I was on the way to the hospital for physical rehabilitation. I heard this one:

Gentelman Jim:

as edgar knows, one doesn't need to be a theist to enjoy gospel. My mamma loved it.

Remembering Julius Caesar now. Nero did not fiddle, he played the harp:

I taught most of Shakespeare's plays. We'll never know who he was because the only record that is available is his baptism.

@George,
Well, LATIN George, we all know that Latin is a dead language but I think we should keep it going just as the cockney patois.

It's Saturn's day here in our Florida radio station, my long time friend and I truly enjoyed Earl Hooker and Wah Wah blues. Didn't know it, so thanks once again for the introduction.

Thinking of my Mamma today and she loved these guys. They have perfectect

What a surprise, y'all. Today is Kevin Kline's birthday and here he is with (you know who, right?)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK-KivWJPwQ

I know that one best by Charles Trenet, and here are the lyrics in English:

Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailing

Somewhere beyond the sea
He's watching for me
If i could fly like birds on high
Then straight to his arms i'd go sailing
It's far beyond a star, it's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon

We'll meet beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
And never again i'll go sailing
Some sailing

Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think, enjoy yourself while you're still in the pink. The years go by as quickly as a wink; enjoy yourself enjoy yourself it's later than you think:

Saying good afternoon with two fabulous composers.

First Robert Louis Stevenson both poet an author:

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. October fest:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2rNs1UE0hs

Now, One of my favorite poems by him:

The Swing
by Robert Louis Stevenson
How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
River and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown--
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

Love this one by Sting:

If I have played this one before, it's well worth playing twice

Once again remembering happier time. My late husband and I went to Mountain Lake Lodge and met Sam Shepherd and Jessica Lang there.

The lake is now gone due to erosion.

They made Dirty Dancing there as well. Hope there are no Baptists here.Smile
