@Letty,
It's nice to reminisce, on happier, or even hippier days. Same thing.

Ta for the fiddling bagpipes and Andre.

Say goodnight with two from the girl from Tiger Bay, Shirley Bassey.

good morning from our Florida radio station.

euroGeorge, you hurry back, because you and I have a lot in common.

Love those two songs by Shirley Bassey, and I remember her best for Gold Finger, because Sean Connery is still my favorite James Bond.

To begin the day here, a birthday gal:

I still have nieces and nephews, and I remember with a smile, Andres and I sitting in the lower wing of our ancestral doing this one.

We have tiny chameleons here on my windows all the time.

Now, I think all of you out there know how I love legends:

Miss Letty, Have to agree with you on Sean Connery, definitely the best Bond, shaken not stirred.

Funny, euroGeorge that "shaken not stirred" line.

I love that Cajun dancing done by those guys. Usually Mardi Gras was in the spring here. When you get a chance, check out Emundo Ros (sp). He was introduced to me by my dear friend Garland Bruce (RIP)

Going to say good after noon now with a great birthday guy, Jim Henson. Anyone remember the Muppets? Smile

@Letty,
Louis Prima, Roy Clark and Mitch and the gang have two things in common, 1. They're all very good and 2. I'd never heard of any of them.
Ta for the intro.

At first I thought Mitch and the gang were a Jeremy Corbyn tribute band.

@eurocelticyankee,
I miss ed, euroGeorge. I taught the evolution of music and it included Our Gang Comedies.

I know Leonard Cohen, but not that lovely lady Ajani Thomas. Great song and thanks again for your comments and personal acknowledgement.

Here's the golden oldie episode of Our Gang:
