Favor, dear friends. Let's not make this FM radio but AM. Everyone needs feed back. Think abou it.

Mon Ami, as you know I love David Bowie, but I didn't know that one by him, so thanks for the memory.

I think edgar/Mark knows that there were vocalists in the past that I didn't care for. Pat Bone was one of them, but doing this song he had perfect intonation.

First some info on that lady.

Anna Anderson (16 December 1896 – 12 February 1984) was the best known of several impostors who claimed to be Grand Duchess Anastasia of Russia. Anastasia, the youngest daughter of the last Tsar and Tsarina of Russia, Nicholas II and Alexandra, was killed along with her parents and siblings on 17 July 1918 by communist revolutionaries in Ekaterinburg, Russia; but the location of her body was unknown until 2007. Many historians say that the family was not killed, just removed from power.

Once again calling all musicians, music lovers, painter, poets and chatters. This is talk radio, too, my friends.

Thinking of John Lennon today:

I'm concerned about JLNobody. He is a great painter and musician.

I have a great regard for John Lennon.
Pat Boone was a wonderful singer. His biggest mistake was to record a number of songs that did not match his voice. But the ones that did match more than made up for it. Here is one, written by Ivory Joe Hunter, orchestra and chorus by Billy Vaughn

Welcome back edgar/Mark. You are right about Pat. When I Lost my Baby was good.

Here's a fabulous Gipsy song:

Well, it's Saturn's Day dear in our Florida radio station.

Loved jc(Morgan)'s Animal song.

Hurry back, Izz with a y. Love those quotes from Hamlet.

Well, "the moss man" said that he didn't look back when I told him that Paul/Cav had died, but I like remembering happier time. First, Paul really like this guy, y'all:

Latin George, puer's trio doing Vince was pulchra as was puella doing Lo How a Rose.

Another fond memory. My son asked me and my daughter to sing that one and when I looked outside, his rose bush was in full bloom.

Charlie Brown, you're a clown reminded me of Enrico:

So long ago, my older sister sent me a vinyl of Mario doing Enrico.

edgar/Mark. Yes, Paul said it right. Love Laura doing "...and when I die..."

Strange, Latin George that I still know Latin. Did you notice that?

Today is this guy's birthday, but first, some info:

Morgan was born Earl Stanley Morner in the village of Prentice in Price County in northern Wisconsin, the son of Grace J. (née Vandusen) and Frank Edward Morner. He was of Swedish descent on his father's side [2]

After relocating to Los Angeles, California, Morgan starred in the war-time dramas, God Is My Co-Pilot and Captains of the Clouds, opposite Ginger Rogers in Kitty Foyle and Perfect Strangers, the comedy Christmas in Connecticut, with Barbara Stanwyck and Sydney Greenstreet, and the musical adventure, The Desert Song.

Morgan was a top leading man at Warner Brothers in the 1940s, starring with best friend Jack Carson in many movies, several of which were "two guys" buddy pictures. His peak years were 1943 to 1949.

as edgar knows I love the golden oldies. Now his song:

Once again calling all musicians, music lovers, singers, and poets.

Well, we have had our poem for today, so let's listen to two versions of the same song:

First, dear Johnny:

@edgarblythe,
I like Johnny's version better as well, Mark.

Didn't know Caravelli's Wigwam, but what a shock to find this one that I played when I was a wee child. It was from a piano teacher Miss Francis.

From that point on, I built wigwans.
