@edgarblythe,
I located it, Mark, but thank you for it too.

Here's a poem by the author, Thomas Hardy:

Best Poem of Thomas Hardy
"I Said To Love"

I said to Love,
"It is not now as in old days
When men adored thee and thy ways
All else above;
Named thee the Boy, the Bright, the One
Who spread a heaven beneath the sun,"
I said to Love.

and it's this lady's birthday:

Oops, edgar, your Crowd with Julie Christie was much better than the on that I played.

Here's another birthday gal, but first some info:

Dame Joan Henrietta Collins, DBE is an English actress, author and columnist. Born in Paddington, west London and brought up in Maida Vale, Collins grew up during the Second World War.

Now, her tribute:

@tsarstepan,
Tsar, That was James' signature song. Love it, my long time friend. Recently I found out that Suzanne was a young girl that took her own life. <sniff>

I've been researching all of my family who were in the wars.

Going to say good evening with three wonderful instrumentals.

First, Montavani:

Now, Chopin:

and, Schubert:

Good to know JL Nobody is alright, and I'm sure Bert and Josie are as well.

Woderful mix of music on our radio.

From Letty with love to everyone here.

Good evening, WA2K, and welcome to the Graveyard Shift.

I loved that Scatman number Letty played, keep that coffee hot!

Tsar stopped by to play a little JT. "Fire and Rain" always reminds me of
his days at McLean Hospital in Belmont MA, where my son works now.

Tonight let's look back to 1962. (Where were you in '62?)

I was a bit young for the strip joint scene that year, but I loved this.

And now the song that gave us that timeless phrase
"Come-a come-a down doobie doo down down."
They don't write'em like that any more, folks.

Good Sun Day morning here in our radio station in Florida.

Latin George, Thanks for your comments on what tsar and I played. Your songs: David Rose's The Stripper and Neil's Breaking Up is Hard to do were great. You should have played In the Middle of the Night by Billy Joel. Smile

Well, edgar, Mark. Losing the music because of a break in the tube can be fixed.

Two songs for Sunday. First, a Fountain:

Now, a birthday man with friends:

Worried about Bert Lee and Josie. Sad

Again, just as true today.

Quote:
'THE BUSINESS OF THE NATION.'

What is " The business of the Nation ?'

Endless row, roundaboutation,

Mutual spite and objurgation,

Egotistic self-inflation,

Partisan disintegration,

Venomous vilification,

Pettifogging aggravation,

General exasperation,

Universal degradation,—

That's "The business of the Nation,"

As 'tis done in Parliament.

Is't not time the lot were sent,—

Ere Bull's brain is dazed to dizziness,—

Each and all, about their business ?

My computer is moving well this morning. Yesterday it would take about five and more minutes to get the sound going on some youtubes, but other times got no sound ever. I am about to give it a first try.

Ah, Mr. Creator, glad you received your sound. I played "the jester" with three friends and I know that you will enjoy it.

You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go was great.

I guess most of us know that he got his name from Dylan Thomas.

Here's a royal birthday:

and, one of our best presidents:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23-VHysMBIQ

He did habitat for humanity; forgave the draft dodgers and allowed them to return to American with no punishment. He did get in a bit of trouble when he wanted to return Dylan Thomas to the poet's corner in England, however.
