Aunty Jack - Graham Bond - the song started out as the closing theme of the leftfield comedy show of the same name (you can see, and hear, the version that appeared in the show here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs9ma5oHVbE)
But it was redone and released as a single - and cracked the the top ten on the Oz charts - thanks (possibly) to an improved arrangement with more than a nod to Phil Spector's 'little operas' idea.
I picked up the picture disc single in a secondhand record store in the 80s.

Speaking of Ben Lee I really liked 'Nothing Much Happens' when it came out and bought the single. Knew nothing about him at the time, just liked the song - paired nicely with Del Amitri's 'Nothing Ever Happens' for my vibe at the time.
Not original obviously, but the 3 together are fantastic

Does anyone remember this bit of sunshine rock from the early 80s? Pretty sure it ended up on the Coolangatta Gold soundtrack. We Are The Kids - Dallimore
Saw them once at Shellharbour Workers Club along with Sharon O’Neill and Dragon. That was an epic night.

It was unfortunate that the next time I saw Dragon, Hunter was so pissed he could barely stand. Was several years before he got sick, so that wasn’t an excuse. That was a letdown, because the first show was awesome.
I only learned fairly recently that Dragon started out as a prog rock/symphonic rock band with an album called 'Scented Gardens For The Blind' - tracking down a copy now. Can't imagine what it sounded like but it gets good ratings on Discogs https://www.discogs.com/master/217099-Dragon-Scented-Gardens-For-The-Blind

Apparently you can expect to pay a couple of hundred bucks for it
