Do you plan the toolbar also make (extension) for Mozilla Browsers?

Probably not, there is not enough market share for alternative browsers to justify the development time.

Beta version 0.8 was just released, it contains some important updates.

The main part of this version includes an update that allows the user to configure toolbar options.

For example, you can have it open searches in a new window or the same window, you can choose from the options page.

Other smaller additions include:

Increased max characters to 1000
Added FOLDOC (Free Online Dictionary of Computing)
Added File Extension Search
Added Toolbar Refresh
Added Clear Search History

Please let us know how the upgrade works for you.

This is the second-last BETA version of the toolbar so it's almost at a release version, thanks for all the input.

Right click one of your IE toolbars and see if there's an option to enable the Able2Know.com ToolBar. Also, you may need to uncheck 'Lock the toolbars' in order to drag it to a place where you can see more of it.
What version of IE are you using though? THe a2k toolbar has minimum IE version requirements.

Great.

In the future though, please use the forum help board for tech support, as Craven mentioned above.

Beta version 0.9 was just released, this is another major update that incorporates improvments on the popup blocking, an overhaul of the toolbar layout (might not seem significant at a glance but big space and useability improvements were made), an overhaul of the search categorization, a cursor notification of blocked pop ups, and an audio notification of blocked pop ups.

This is the last BETA release and the next (1.0) will be a RELEASE version.

You can update your toolbar at anytime by using the upgrade option in the help menu under the Able2Know logo.

I am having an odd experience when I try to access Wikipedia from the toolbar - this is for a few days now.

When I try to search it from the toolbar I get a "special page" with this message:

"Wikipedia search is disabled for performance reasons. You can search via Google or Yahoo! in the meantime."

If I go direct to Wikipedia the search function there is fine.

Search is a database intensive procedure and they sometimes disable it to cope with the traffic load they get.

Actually, it isn't. They display Google and Yahho searches that will work, but their own search doesn't.

You are probably talking about their "go" as opposed to "search". "Go" sends the user to a url, and it works if it exists and doesn't if not (at which point a search would be needed).

We may update the toolbar to use the "Go" feature, but we can't do much about them disabling their search feature.

CDK: what happened to the Site Statistics Page that I used to be able to access? I'm guessing it's buried here somewhere.
