If i comment on a friends status, it appears for a few hours and then disappears. Does anyone know why this is or how i can stop my comments vanishing?

Your 'friend' is able to remove your comments.

It does not necessarily "disappear" but it might not be shown because there are other comments coming after yours. Yours will not show then.

No i've checked with them and they are not being removed by my friends, it is happening on many of my friends posts not just one. If my friends reply to my comments it then looks like they are talking to themselves.......very strange !

Comments pile up on each other. So your comment might be #4, and there are others coming after, so all you see is comment #7, 8 or 9. FB can't show all the comments.

no they have definitely disappeared, they appear first for a few hours and then they disappear??
