I just got back to back popup windows for Cheap Tickets. I use the Google popup blocker and these managed to bypass it.
Persistent, ain't they? When I use an on-line resource to order tickets, I never use the worst pop-up offenders. It's the least I can do...
The reason I'm reporting it here is because I was on A2K when I got them.

You may have caught that somewhere - else and your web activity here - activates the window to come-up.
I've experienced pop-ups here too. Craven said it was most likely from an outside source. I know when it is just a PM popup, and when it's not. How this happens though, I have no clue.

Are you sure it was a popup, as opposed to a roolover one that expands when you mouse over it?
I suspect you are talking about an ad that can drop down when you roll over, but that does not spawn a new window.
I think you are right Craven, it may be a rollover one. Whatever it was, I didn't like it.
