Fishing 30 miles offshore in sit-on kayaks

Looks interesting. But I don't think I would do it.

Me, 40 years ago definitely, now not too likely. You'd have to have a fast kayak which could get to those oil rigs without totally wiping your arms and shoulders and you'd have to be awfully certain that the weather was going to hold for the several hours in question.

fishing can be a lot of fun.
