@Sturgis,
I hd such a procedure inside one of my heart chambers while I was just lightly under. After it was all over, the sameday I had a great dinner at PF Changs.
Youll be fine, these guys do this stuff for a living.

keep it positive as the folks say.

@farmerman,
Has anyone heard from Sturgis???? I had hoped he would be giving us an update. Are there any members here in touch with Sturgis??? If there are, please tell him we are anxious for him to get back. I would like to resurrect the insult thread, and Stugis is so good on that silly thread.

@tsarstepan,
Dear, dear Sturgis,

I guess I can't ask you, as usual, what you had to eat, as it will be hospital food and though you won't complain you won't be liking it.

But, I know in my heart of hearts they will solve this, you have wonderful Doctors and Nurses that seem to pick things up (eventually)...

Will be there holding your hand and I know that the boss would want me to fly around on my broomstick so you've got that too.

You're such a treasure to us on FW and in our lives.

Sending my love.

K.

Still here, still apparently breathing.

Updates include the clearance of right kidney infection and the decision to let the blood clots do what they can and will do with blood thinners. Now off of heparin drip and taking coumadin pill along with lovenox inject once daily. Pain management medicate has gone from a morphine drip and time release oxyco/done(or is it contin?-cannot quite recall) Confused Whichever it has me relieved of pain although won kind of confused at times.

Renal scan shows no lasting obvious damage-WHEW!

Scheduled to remain here at Beth Israel until next week (tentative dislodge is the 24th) while they further observed eggshells and me.

Greatly appreciate and touched by the kindness extended towards me. We're it in my abilities I'd get each of you a delicious chocolate egg cream and potato knish(along with a mandatory pastrami on rye with Swiss cheese and a swab of mustard) or whatever else you might be urging to eat.

In the meanwhile, be good to yourselves and stay positive, stay happy.

Going to look around now and maybe flop in a few posts.

Until later...

@Sturgis,
Great news, Sturge old boy......especially the lovenox. Does it do what it says on the label?

Take it easy and get yourself well.

Great news! Sending a virtual chocolate egg cream and potato knish (along with a mandatory pastrami on rye with Swiss cheese and a swab of mustard) right back to you.

Be well, man.

@Sturgis,
Good news. All the best for a full recovery.

I would like a knish though. They're tough to find here in Texas.
