Now we know what dlowan does in her spare time. I hope she didn't bean anybody with a mean throw of her moon rock.---BBB
Town holds moon rock throwing championships
An Outback town in Australia is holding the World Moon Rock Throwing Championships.
It is part of the Fossil Festival in Richmond, north-west Queensland.
Festival organiser Rob Ivers told ABC Australia the competition is similar to shot-putting but uses 30 kilogram moon rocks instead.
He explained: "Moon rocks are large spherical creations and they were formed in the inland crustacean sea of Queensland about 100 million years ago."
Those aren't moon rocks, they are giant wabbit pellets. That's what happens when dlowan eats too many Jerusalem artichokes.
It'd be a fair commute for da bunny!
I'm in Adelaide for the weekend - which is a long one, here.
