"All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves."
Whatcha think 'bout dat?
Buddhism has been around a lot longer than Bill Hicks. Who is Bill Hicks anyway?
Bill Hicks was a comedian who died in 1994, at age 32. Mostly unknown in the U.S., he was gaining popularity in Great Britain and other countries. He ranted about the hypocrisies of government, ludicrous beliefs, controversial issues such as abortion, drug use, and pornography, and the status quo in general. He was a great great comedian because he not only made you laugh, he made you think.
This little quote is a small excerpt from a larger piece where he talks about his positive experiences with drugs.
