Facebook doesn't recognize my business page..

Facebook doesn't seem to recognize my business page. It won't come up when you search for it, it wont let my employees list it as their place of work, and it wont let people check in unless they already like the page. The only way we have acquired likes is if we invite people to like our page, or if we give them the direct web address (Edit [Moderator]: Link removed. How can I fix this?
