Happy Holidays--
Anything associated with Easter or Passover
Afikoman
Afikoman means "dessert" in Aramaic. At the beginning of the Passover seder, the middle of the three pieces of matzah is broken. The largest piece, called the afikoman, is hidden. During the seder, the children try to find the afikoman. If they find it, they hide it. At the end of the seder, the person leading the service will ask the children to bring the afikoman. The seder can only conclude after the afikoman is eaten. At this point, the children will bargain for some reward before agreeing to return the afikoman. The afikoman serves to keep the children involved and awake during the long seder service.
Blood
The blood Jesus shed on the cross is very significant to Christians; also, the lamb's blood posted over the doorposts of the Israelites - significant to Jewish passover.
Happy holidays to you as well, firefly and all.
Christ
At Easter Christians commemorate the passion, death and resurrection of Christ.
By whatever name you call Him, and whatever way you worship Him, may God's blessings be on you.
And to you, Lezzles.
Daffodils, and all those bulb flowers.
Lots of churches have them, and lilies... to celebrate Easter and Spring.
Eggs
Easter Bunny
Easter Bilbey (a little endangered marsupial - it is very politically correct at present to pretend that Bilbies, not Bunnies, run around Australia with chocolate eggs)
Easter bonnets
family
friends

fancy frocks (dressing up for Easter)
Good Friday
Garden of Gethsemane

knekke--
Easter is the season for games with eggs all over Europe. The sport of egg-pecking is practiced in many forms, in Syria, Iraq, and Iran, as well. In Norway it is called knekke (knock). In Germany, Austria, and France, hard-boiled eggs are rolled against each other on the lawn or down a hill; the egg that remains uncracked to the end is called the "victory egg." This game has attained national fame in America through the annual egg-rolling party on the lawn of the White House in Washington.
kouloúra - Greek Easter bread
Karpas--a vegetable on the Passover Seder Table
A vegetable (usually parsley) is dipped in salt water and eaten. The vegetable symbolizes the lowly origins of the Jewish people; the salt water symbolizes the tears shed as a result of their slavery in Egypt.
Kaddesh
A blessing over the Seder wine in honor of the Passover holiday
That was very informative! Thanks, firefly.
Lilies - White lilies are a symbol of the resurrection as well as the coming of spring, purity and are associated with other stories & legends.
