(Troilus and Cressida, or U & C? Well, they could have done, T&C... but, alas, things didn't go as it seemed they'd go.)

Xenophon and Cyrus the younger

(I appreciate that this is pushing 'famous,' but it's X.)

You could have tried W, not only easier but the correct letter!

Actually, we reversed the order of "V" and "W", but what the heck - it's Saturday night (at least, where I am), so we can play a little fast and loose with the alphabet!

Also pushing a bit here, to get the "Y":

Yseult and Tristan

Now that we've cleared that up (yeah, sure), who's got a "Z"?

It's at times like these that I try to praise former leaders for not imposing the cyrillic alphabet on us WinkLaughing.

No, wait a sec. We didn't reverse the V and W. Are you sure it's Saturday where you are Bree? Laughing

No, I don't have a Z. I thought Zorro had a sidekick, but I can't find him. (lol)

I'm pretty sure it's Saturday night here, and I'm pretty sure we had Weber and Fields before we had Victoria and Albert, and I'm virtually certain that's a reversal of the order in which the letters "V" and "W" are supposed to appear in the alphabet, but hey -- the important thing is we had 26 entries, and (drom having found a "Z") --

the next round is open to whoever wants to start it!

There was Viola and Orsino and then Weber and Fields and then Drom began chatting and ....I know. Let's do one about things that cause arguments, fights, etc.

Athletic games (my team is better than your team)

All right. And W & V weren't switched. Clary confused everything, not me Wink.
