It's All Over Now, Baby Blue
If You See Her, Say Hello
Knocking on Heaven's Door
I played Joan Baez's version of it at my husband's memorial last Saturday.
Clary: Beautiful song and rendition by Baez. A lovely choice. (I have the Baez recording)
On a Night Like This
Bree and Clary: I'm sorry for butting in. It's just that when I hear Joan Baez, I get excited.
Restless Farewell (Joan does that beautifully)
Subterranean Homesick Blues
No problem, Raggedy. In fact, I was just going to butt in and ask if anybody has read the new book called Dylan's Visions of Sin, by Christopher Ricks. The description on Amazon says, "Focusing on the centrality of the seven deadly sins (pride, anger, lust, envy, sloth, greed, covetousness), the four virtues (justice, temperance, fortitude, prudence) and the three graces (faith, hope, love) in Dylan's writings, Ricks confirms Dylan's poetic genius and elevates the poet of the north country to canonical status alongside Tennyson, Shakespeare and Milton."
On the whole, I think I'd rather just listen to a Dylan record.
I'm in agreement with you Bree about listening, but I do prefer Joan Baez singing Dylan's songs. ( Except Girl of the North Country (Dylan and Johnny Cash)) I hope there's no flak over my very opinionated opinion.
The Times, They Are A -Changin'
Only Y left I think, I started it someone to finish and pick a new one.
You Changed my Life
I did try to start a GARDENING one, plants, tools and verbs to do with the garden.
