why 30000 americans accept Islam after 9/11?

Its really not surprising, i mean religion is somethieng extremly personal and linking what a bunch of fundamentalist do and blaming a whole religions is exactly where intolerance start. Then we could ask the same for other events in history like when spaniards came to America and commit one of the greatest genocides of the history of mankind. How could the American natives accept the catholic religion after the spaniards only brought loot and destruction to the Americas. Something similar happened to the north american indigenous groups, and on the crusades, and during the inquisition.
The problem is not the religion but the assholes that kill on that religion´s name.

yeah the prisons are full of them, converts that is. Islam is designed to go after the disenfranchised and poor. The hate for our society is already there.
