Can't respond to private messages left on our business page

Something changed recently, and not only the does the page look different, our profile picture disappeared (easily fixable) BUT the bigger change seems to be that there is no way to respond to private messages left for our page. I can read them but there is no method to reply.
Any idea how can we fix this?
