I think it would be cool if you people could write headlines on front pages of your local newspapers today...okay, I am journalist and possibly it's my deformation but I think it can be interested - let's see what is of main importance for editors today around the world...
I'll start: front page of Vecernji list, Croatia
main headline with big photo: "FBI IN CROATIA" - police and USKOK in training for crushing mafia
Why are Socialdemocrats silent about conflict between police and POA (POA=something like FBI in Croatia)
Interview: President Mesic: "It's possible that I'll be candidate of Croatian Democratic Union on next elections"
Government orders burning of 45 tons of meat and pasta (Health minister refuses to give names of companies that were producing food with too much GMO)
Prime minister Sanader pays 1,5 million kuna to family Zec (surviving members of family today guests in Government, lawyers withdraw case) - (explanation: family Zec is family from Zagreb, croatian capital, three members of them were, during the war, killed by policemen)
On front page there is also greeting to all readers for May 1st
An aside: many of today's frontpages can be seen 'live' (okay, from about 9:30 a.m. EST onwards :wink: )

I know, but I was more interesting in papers from smaller countries, or local papers from bigger countries...sure we can all find New York Times on the internet, but who knows what are major headlines in Wisconsin today
