I have a ceiling light that has 4 x g4 bulbs at 20 watts each, which transformer can I use.
it's 230v mains and I think 12v bulbs, the transformer keeps dying, but its a nice light so I would like to keep it, any ebay or supplier links would help a lot.

What country? (England?)

You "think" they're 12v bulbs. You have to be sure.

Most 12 v "down lights", as they're called in Australia, use a separate transformer for each bulb. If you're trying to run 4 bulbs off a transformer designed for 1, it's no wonder it's dying.

As a sparkie, I hate them. They're a bitch to replace, & the transformer can easily become a fire hazard, if it's not placed with forethought.
