hi everyone,
im pretty new to this.
ive posted various things and when i click on your posts the list is getting longer, how do i delete these before i get a list as long as my arm?
thanks in anticipation
Why do you want to delete them? It's your record here - mine is now nearly 2000 "my posts" (which isn't long at all!).
i cant be bothered searching through them all m8,do you know how to delete them please?
Calm down, iceman71! I don't take kindly to people yelling at Walter.
They can't be deleted. They stay linked to your username as long as the site remains active unless the site itself chooses to do a purge of old posts (not a likely scenario but a remote possibility should some sort of crisis occur.)
When you click on "Your Posts" you'll see an orange icon indicating that there are new posts in the thread since your last log-in that you haven't read yet. That is a quick way to find new posts and which threads are active. The threads there are listed in decending order by the date/time of the last post btw.
Personally, I use the "Your Posts" list a lot but I only look at the first page in the list. By the time a thread rolls over to the 2nd page it's usually been dead for a week or more (that will be affected by how often and how many threads you post in.)
ok thanks fishin guess i will have to stick it
