Your plight has touched my heart. Please accept my sincere condolences. However, your problems will start when you understand the question, but have no idea as to the answer, and I speak from experience. Although on a brighter note, your English is far superior to my Neanderthal.

Can someone please explain, in words, why 0! = 1 ? I can't get my head around it.
3! = 3*2*1 = 6
2! = 2*1 = 2
1! = 1
0! = ?????

x! represents the number of ways x objects can be arranged.
For example, 3 objects can be arranged in 6 ways:
ABC
ACB
BAC
BCA
CAB
CBA
so 3!=6
0!=1 because we assume that 0 objects can be arranged in one way. There is certainly an argument that there should be zero ways to arrange zero objects, but one is accepted by the mathematicians who are in charge of such things.

Factorial (!) doesn't have to be used to make 0 equal 1.
(e^0+e^0+e^0+e^0+e^0)!
or
(Cos 0 + Cos 0 + Cos 0 + Cos 0 + Cos 0)!

I think that using 5 zeroes and adding 120 is 6 zeroes, but maybe 0+0+0+0+120 is okay...

you're not using just zeroes, Pondering.
magnum, if you ever need help in translating, I'm Dutch as well, so just PM me and I'll help with a translation.
Should I have written that in Dutch?
My Neanderthal is about this: *grunts*
