OK wordsmyths, here's the eighth instalment, which should keep you busy over the Christmas Holidays, or at least until tonight!

I'm looking for a 9-letter English word (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) which matches the following

Clues:
The letters 5, 8, 2 & 3 (in that order) spell a CURRENCY.
The letters 1, 7, 6 & 9 (in that order) spell a type of CHEESE.
The letters 4, 5, 9, 2 & 8 (in that order) spell a type of STONE.


Notes:
Seven of the nine letters are different.
Four of the nine letters are vowels.
The correct word (and ALL sub-clue words) are found in Webster's Dictionary - 10th Edition.
Vowels here, are defined as: A, E, I, O and U.

Currencies: lire, euro, dime, cent, peso
Cheeses: edam, feta
Stones: ???

#2 is probably a vowel, as is #8 OR #9. Hmmm

a kind of stone could be a GRAVE stone

or a GRIND stone

or a JEWEL

BLASTULAE was the answer.

CURRENCY = TALA.
CHEESE = BLUE.
STONE = STELA.


7 different letters were: A, B, E, L, S, T and U.
4 vowels were A, A, E and U.
