What's the quickest way to get cat hair off a comforter?

My cat sheds all over my comforter. Aside from washing the whole damn thing every week, how can I get the cat hair off it? I have thought of using the cat brush, but I think that would probably do some kind of damage to the comforter. Any ideas on a quick easy way to get rid of it?

I thought about that too. Kind of a pain, but I guess that is the quickest way, huh.

Kill the cat and buy a new comforter.

Lint roller. They also sell a sponge like thing in pet shops that works pretty well.

Use your tongue.

Works for the cat... might work for you.

I'd buy double sided tape and put it all over the comforter. A couple of missteps and that cat ain't goin on that comforter again.

And brush the cat with a fur stripping comb regularly - I use one of the soft plastic thingies with the huge teeth - works well - I actually made accidental bald spots on my poor cats the other day....

I have a brush like that, but I am soooooo lazy about doing that. Yeah, I'm a bad cat daddy.

My cat used to shed all over the place, but I solved the problem. You know those clear plastic balls that people put hamsters in? I designed one, only a little bigger, for my cat. I also made a real tiny one and put a mouse inside.

Now, the cat happily chases the mouse all day. The sounds of rolling balls reverberates throughout the Ratzenhofer household.

And.... no more cat hair to clean up. Just vacuum the ball once a week.

Do I sound like him?

I was going to use a different word for cat, but decided against.

Tell the cat if she keeps shedding on your comforter, you're going to send her to Iraq - to the 101st.
