What would i use to make my decal sticker on my football helmet sticky again?

i have a decal its a year old and it has lost its stickiness so tell me which adhesive should i use that will not damage my helmet.

Baby Oil worked for me.

My helmet is now as shiny as it ever was.

Yes, but how are your decals? No one ever considers the rights and needs of the decals.

The decals, unfortunately, ended up being washed down the plughole.

My helmet looks a lot nicer, sans decal.
