Maybe someone knows the answer to my newest Facebook frustration???? This started last week....every time someone comments on a posting, it reappears at the top of my timeline. When I sit down to see what new goodies have been posted, I have to plow through all these older posts that I already saw from yesterday! I don't want to miss the new stuff but geeze, who has time to weed through reruns? Is there a fix for this?

It has to do with the sorting mechanism. There are two options, one is to sort most recent posts first, the other is to sort with the most active first, the more comments a post has, the higher in rank it will be when sorted. No matter how often you choose to sort by most recent, for some reason Facebook always reverts back to sorting by most active. You have to reset the sort preference daily.
