I can't find Acorners in the MW dictionary!

I guess the Moderator will have to adjudicate...

As originator and former moderator of this Trivia Game, I would love to suggest the next add-a-Letter, but I'll leave that honour to Mac, as she has managed this forum during my long absence.

I'm delighted that this game has been sustained during my absence...it is truly addictive to those who love this sort of challenge.

I'm glad that so many have joined in over the past two years since its creation.

Does anyone know the longest posible word that can be made in a game like this?

Fourteen letters were in the longest word that I can recall.

In theory, it can grow to over thirty, but it depends on randomness.

I always tried to insert a letter which allowed for the possibility of a subsequent new word.

I 'm not sure how randomness is involved, but it certainly depends on cooperation. To create a long chain, it is probably easier to start with a long word and subtract letters.

The very nature of this Trivia Game is random.
You just don't know what letter the next player is going to add.
