I can't see "people you may know" on the right side (where the Ads are)

how can I add it back and also how can I decide what to see on the sidebar

It seems to come and go (FB's algorithms are a closely guarded trade secret, but one thing is clear, and it's that there is a great deal of randomness in them).

As for deciding who to see in "people you may know", you do not make that selection; the algorithm does.
