Unable to change my name

Hi, I have tried to edit my name in settings, as I am permanently signed in I was unsure of my password when prompted as it's not been needed for months, as I typed in the wrong sequence a few times yesterday I now have an error message saying oops something has gone wrong we are working to fix it. This has been for 2 days now.
Any idea what I can do or what is happening?
