Well, I don't know the whole story, but you have my sympathies. It's a shitty road to travel.

Would you trade your current healthcare for Obamacare?

I'm curious what you think Obamacare is McG. My current health care qualifies perfectly under Obamacare. I have health insurance that covers me just as required.

That would be you and MiT, CI, a whole host of people who simply can't take an adult approach to the crimes of the US. The facts are ample, there is no doubt whatsoever that the US is the greatest terrorist group on the planet, has been since the 1850s or so on.

Since I have Medicare the new law does not affect me. People who have insurance are mostly not affected. As for delaying Obamacare a year, seems I remember some provisions were delayed once. Can't remember what they are. Delay until a way can be found to kill it seems to be the plan. If Obama does not cave, my respect for him will soar greatly.

@edgarblythe,
the GOP is hoping that ObamaCare is not ready to go live ontime so Obama will be thrilled to push it all back a year. dont know if this is wishful thinking or rather based upon intel.

Really? It doesn't effect you so who cares? It doesn't effect me either, yet I care a great deal. Odd how roles change. Everyone is effected by this and that you would just sit idly by just because "your side" committed this atrocity doesn't even make me flinch. Just kind of par for the course.

Obama said today Obamacare is already funded and shutting down will not affect it. So, there are going to be bugs to work out, I am certain. But, if there is a will to make it work, it will.

@McGentrix,
When did I say, Who cares? If I did not care I would not be on threads like this. I think threads like this tend to cause people to decide what somebody means before even reading them.

@edgarblythe,
If my wife hadent worked for an outfit that had insurance when my company went bankrupt i wouldent have been able to get insurance because of health issues. I got lucky but know many of my coworkers who dident. Thats why I am for Obamacare or what ever you want to call it. Yes I dont need it at this time but many of my friends and coworkers and their wives an children do.

@edgarblythe,
the cost to the gov is paying all or part of insurance premiums, does your insurance company make you pay 3 months before the insured period starts? I need to pay by 1 minute before midnight , midnight jan 1 being
start time.

Maybe you should consider such a reluctance before you start them.
