On your initial meld, can you pick the pack if an ace is thrown and add jokers to it assuming you have 3 of a kind of something else?

The answer is yes, or no......it all depends on what card game you're playing.

Canasta - I always thought if you took the pack with an ace on top that your initial meld had to be clean without jokers.
