Since day one I have had trouble. The password sent to me (now lost) was to confusing & so I put in for <<password removed>>>. Interesting thing is I can get on if I log in <<password removed>>> each time. Then decided I would make another try at my Profile & see if <<password removed>>> is accepted, but I get this "The current password you supplied does not match that stored in the database" Which is telling me somewhere along the line the <<password removed>>> was sort of accepted, but then it was not.
Struggling like this each time & each form I go to really can be a pain in the neck.

What site is this happening on, Smitty? Many of these thing have an option when logging in, like remeber my password, or something like that. You should probably click it, if it's available. That's what I do here, though it's not a good idea to stay logged in if you are using a public computer.
That isn't going to solve the immediate proplem, of course, but if you can get in using the stated password, it should save trouble. Don't mention the exact password on a public forum, by the way. You should get the same reply without it.
Smitty- go to the login screen and select "I forgot my password". A new one will be E-mailed to you.
Then, log in , go to your profile, and change your password. You should not be choosing "save my password" (which is a Windows setting and has nothing to do with A2K) until you have a password you want. Then you can just have the computer fill in your password.
And, you can solve a lot of this aggravation by selecting "Remember me" AND not logging out every time.
Just to add to the above - Smitty - do yourself a favor, security-wise, and never, ever reveal your password again. Support doesn't keep them, so revealing it only compromises your account's security and doesn't do you any good.
I removed references to your password in your post.
If you are having difficulty changing your password you can use the contact page to ask the help desk to change it for you.
