I really think, all here are excellent. Some more, a few less, and very few 'less less'.

Speaking for the chopped liver crowd, I value everybody here.

My favorite poster is still the one of Farrah Fawcett from the '70s.

I regret posting any names because I left out many whom I really like a lot.

I regret that my posting made y'all slight so many A2K'ers. Perhaps if I edited my post to read:
"I'd like to know who your LEAST favorite a2k posters are" it would bathe those omitted in a golden light.

I love all the posters on A2K, except for the ones I can't stand. Truth be told, asking who our least favourite posters are would probably result in a stiff Moderator slap, because you just know how fast that thread would degenerate into mindless bashing...

It is an art, and a good exercise in diplomacy, to find the one sliver of good or sense in all posts. Just because a task can be difficult does not make it impossible, although I am certain some would disagree with me on that. Smile

I think your thread is a good one, Boss, and i'm sure that it is gratifying to those who are mentioned with honor here. There is a core of members here who have "origins" in common, coming here by invitation, or by notice by those whom they liked at other sites. Those of us who hesitate to name other posters do so because we value so many people, and fear that an omission might give needless offense.

Of the members who are "new" here, I am impressed with the honesty, good humor and forthright character of Onyxelle. Kickycan has an excellent sense of humor, and makes good sense. Clary has a wonderful sense of language humor, and a pleasant disposition--her posts are often a treat to read. Tarantalus is a sharp debator, well-informed and level- and cool-headed. Camille has a sharp tongue--and a wry wit, as often engaged in ironic humor as an impersonal criticism of ideas with which she does not agree; and she shows an honest, open human side. Foxfyre has passionate beliefs, and defends them in exemplary manner. SCoates has an ironic sense of humor, and is plainly honest in the expression of opinions. LRR Hood is a thoughtul and thought-provoking member. Relative frequently provides a perspective we lack. Roverroad is notable for decency, honesty and intelligent good nature. Caprice can be counted upon to add the pertinent post, and join in the good fun often to be found here.

To all of my "old friends" from the "old days" at AFUZZ, and all those who are friends of long standing from the year and a half here, i've not mentioned anyone, for fear of failing to give praise where it is due to anyone.

Craven, of course, does not suffer fools gladly. Neither do i--which accounts for why we are sometimes to be found at one another's respective throats. Jespah is an essential part of this entire operation, without whom we would all be lost. For Phoenix and Timber, and all the moderators whose hidden dark powers are unknown to me--you do a great job, and i thank you.

I hardly think an omission would give needless offense, you core people can be brutal and have skins thicker than an elephant. I appreciate your post as it singled out some new people and I believe that in order for a sapling to grow it must receive some rays of sunlight.

Yes panzade, sunlight is important for a sapling, and after the sun goes down, plenty of liquid refreshment, if you know what I mean, heh heh. Then you will be primed for some of A2K's long-running chatty threads.

Oooooooooops ... I see that a whole discussion already ensued about this since I absent-mindedly opened up a "reply" window on it .... nebbermind!

Oh my god - if you can't make compliments anymore because any compliment to one is not a compliment to another, then political correctness has really gone too far ... imho. Jeez.

I mean, if, say, Clary doesn't mention me, I'm not gonna go round going, "oh, Clary doesnt like me", am I?

I loved this thread for example: Above you. It was so cute.

Well, nimh, while most of us do indeed posess the tough skins of elephants, as panzade pointed out, I am certain that among the 12 000+ members here, there are some who don't, and might easily perceive offense when none is intended. It's not so much "political correctness" as it is protecting ourselves from uneeded grief. I had an experience with one particular poster who was PMing me constantly, and then e-mailing me, and it was a whole nightmare. I think that pretty much all the folks mentioned here so far do not fall into that psycho category. Laughing

And, certainly not least, RP, and not just 'cause we'll be celebrating 12 years o' marriage next month. :-D <smewch>

I have to say all of the members of the staff and the Moderating, Support and Administrative teams, past and present. You have made and continue to make A2K what it is today and what it will be in the future. Every week, I look back on how not only the past week has gone, but also at how the past year and month and everything else has gone, and I am constantly thrilled at what you all do. You have made this one of the premier sites out there. You are an inspiration to me, and forever have my gratitude and love.

I've been searching for a link to the recent news report about a group of parents in Nashville who sued the school board because the Honor Roll was being posted in the lobby and kids who weren't on it were being discriminated against. Anybody see this?

There is so much bilge effluence in Florida that Bill and I can hide out quite comfortably, thank you.
