Is this going a little too far when it comes to gaming

I am 14 and a independent video game developer and I was wondering if some people think its going to far to show a child soldier in the game because the main character has flash backs of when he was a child soldier its only shown as cut scenes but it shows what he went through as a boy even being shot,cut,and stabbed even having to kill his own comrades to survive but these types of cutscenes are only shown 3 or 4 times an I want to make this a very deep game with a complex story line of which is equal to great game designers in fact so far the game is about 10 hours long with about 2 hours of cutscenes and I put tons of detail into the environment I even paid for a couple voice actors with my own money and a couple of my friends chiped in with money and doing some voice acting because they believe in what I am doing and I don't want all that to be ruined because I made some stupid mistakes so what do you al recommend I do?

By the way it will be a FPS/TPS shooter were you can sneak around,alot of gun customization,large open environments,and even choices that will effect the future of the game.
