I intend to respond more like the good doctor than my Finn persona, but who knows? Drugs have a way of finding all sorts of aspects of our personalities. Finn, Dr. Gotz…who knows who is next? Sweeny Agonistes is waiting in the wings.
In the end, it's just a forum for discussion; an intellectual playground.
My admitted fault has been, at times, to take it too personally. (Shame on me indeed)
Nothing Dr. Gotz has posted is an intellectually dishonest expression of what "I" think but it has all been an aspect, just as Finn or Sweeny Agonistes may be.
So good to be back home.
PS: Surely some of you suspected, and those who welcomed Dr. Gotz, I have great appreciation for your kindness and will not forget.
What a jackass I am.
@Finn dAbuzz,
"Sock puppet?"
Not sure what that suggests, but I'm betting it ain't kind.
@Finn dAbuzz,

Hi, Finn. Good to see ya. Hope this all goes well.
@Finn dAbuzz,
A sock puppet is when you adopt another persona, so Doctor Gotz was Finn d'Abuzz's sock puppet. It's not an insult, it's a statement of fact.
I've not tagged this thread btw.
Hey finn! That lithium your psych prescribed really worked
I really enjoyed meeting Dr Gotz
@Finn dAbuzz,
Has the Padre Island areas been developed a lot lately (I haven't been in the area for more than 10 years)
Ha!
Good one.
I like the good doctor.
Which is more than I can say for what had become the typical Finn responses. Those tended to become about the poster Finn was responding to rather than the point being made. In fact, Finn was a candidate for my second ever "ignore user" for a while. But then he took a (much needed, imo) break.
Welcome back.
Again.
@JPB,
I agree JPB. You nailed it.
The engineer in me must ask: Was Dr. Gotz an experiment and if so, what were the hypothesis and results?

Darn, when I saw the "Sock Puppets" tag I was sort of hoping there would be an amusing Youtube video.
For what it's worth, I prefer DoctorGotz, because he
doesn't live in Texas.
PS -- Welcome back, Finn.
@Finn dAbuzz,
Ya sure had me fooled, Finn. Dr Gotz, was he a Tennessee feller?
I already welcomed Finn back in another thread but welcome back again.
@Finn dAbuzz,
I missed you.
Glad you're back.
(we don't have to agree on everything, do we?)
@Kolyo,
Thanks (I think) Kolyo
If it makes you feel any better, Finn was born in NY and lived there for 30 years.
Not apologizing for Texas, but Doctor Gotz wants me to be less confrontational.
@izzythepush,
I didn't know that definition of "sock puppet," but if that's actually what it is, OK.
@panzade,
Zoloft not lithium
Dr Gotz will be back, but then so will Sweeny Agonistes.
