This has happened a couple of times now so I thought I would let you know.
The New Posts function sometimes stops working. When you click on it, it refreshs the page but the newest posts don't appear. If I go to "At A Glance" I can see the latest posts but in New Posts there is nothing after about 2 hours ago.
In the past when this has happened I have had to just keep logging on and off until... it works again. Have done that about 4 times today but no luck as yet.
It's probably just a glitch I suppose.
Is still happening. Just clicked New Posts straight after submitting and nothing.
Not here - worked and works as usual.
It's working here, Adrian.
Still not working for me. Have logged on 3 or 4 more times and the new posts list is staying exactly the same. Last new post showing was at 1:58pm. It is now 4:35pm.
Strange.
Adrian
Yes, it is strange. Maybe it's something to do with your computer? (though I'm nowhere near an expert!

)
Ah well. It's working now from home.
Forget about it I guess.
Adrian, if the page also loads more quickly than normal check to see if your computer is caching it.
Or if you have it saved for "offline use" (even more likely if you are on dialup).
Go to the page then (in IE) go to File and see is "Work Offline" is checked.
If so, uncheck it.
The page is working, for some reason your browser is giving you old pages that are saved on your harddrive.
The page being made available in offline mode is a possibility, but I think craven's 1st idea is more likely -- that your browser is just loading the page from normal cache. Press F5 to reload a page. If it still hasn't refreshed, in IE press Ctrl+F5 (Netscape: Shift+F5). If after doing both of the above your page still won't refresh, you'll need to empty your cache.
At any rate, like cdk said this isn't a problem with the site itself.
Well, it finally happened again so I could test your ideas.
It was the cache thing. F5 fixes it.
Many thanks to Craven and Monger.
Adrian,
Thanks for taking the time to report issue resolution, it really helps the techies who are doing remote diagnosis as we can't be there to replicate the described problems ourselves.
