Everytime me think of My Liza, water come to me eye.

I don't know the album, and I'm surprised it was the first RCA million seller. But, it's got to be Harry Belafonte.

Close enough. It was CALYPSO, featuring Day-o and Jamaica Farewell.

I love that record album. Do you have another question, Edgar? I'm sorry, but I don't have a question ready.

Ah ah ah. Hoagy wrote the music - not the lyrics.

In which play did the central characters sing to one another:
You deserve someone who's handsome, namely me.
You deserve someone good lookin, namely me.

My first thought was the B'way show, Lil Abner (movie, too) but all I can remember is:

"You deserve a boy who's willin, namely me
One who'd love to raise my children, namely me."

but your words sound soooo familiar, Edgar. I'm anxious to hear the answer to this one.

The words you quoted are also what Lil Abner and Daisy Mae sang. You got it right.

That's funny, because I was just thinking about Lil Abner for one of my songs on a movie quiz I have here. Very Happy

I should add that someone else sang the song in Moulin Rouge.
