I believe you are correct eoe. Why don't we assume you are, then you can ask the next question.

I think Kate Smith might be right, too. Her rendition of that was a WWII Icon, at any rate, but I'm not sure ... I always thought her "Signature Song" was "When the Moon Comes Over The Mountain". Dunno fer certain, tho ... I was not yet even young.

OK, this is probably too easy, but ELO formed out of a previous Jeff Lynne Group. What was that Previous Group named, and who were the carry-over members?

Sorry - Yes kate Smith, and yes, When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain. That's back when big voices tended to be big people.

I was tied up yesterday.

eoe ... yup, you got it. The Move was a very different group from ELO, but shows the initial formation of Lynne's style and talent, IMHO.

Sorry I took so long ... I lost track of this thread. I'm having way too much fun here at A2K! Embarrassed

Robert Goulet.

Name the Traveling Wilburys and identify Lefty, Lucky, etc. Bonus: Which artist was slated to replace Roy Orbison but died (suicide) instead.

Don't wait on my reply to ask a question. I'm off to bed and then to work.

Spelling Correction, here, dys ... Sinnead's last name is O'Connor. I'm not a fan, but am constantly correcting other folks' spelling of my own last name.
