Now try this one guys:

If the stars came out only one night in a thousand years
how people would believe and adore and preserve
from generation to generation
remembrance of the miracle they'd been shown.

Who, where and when-song by ?

" My life is changing in so many ways, I don't know who to trust anymore.
There's a shadow running through my days like a beggar going from door to door.
I was thinking that maybe I'd get a maid, find a place nearby for her to stay. "

New Question.....

who wrote these lyrics......

In your eyes
The light the heat
In your eyes
I am complete
In your eyes
I see the doorway to a thousand churches
In your eyes
The resolution of all the fruitless searches
In your eyes
I see the light and the heat
In your eyes
Oh, I want to be that complete
I want to touch the light
The heat I see in your eyes

Hi dys.... Yes, the answer is Peter Gabriel... Your turn....

I had Peter Gabriel on my mind, because Direct TV is airing his "Secret World Concert" this month, and I watched it several times last weekend. Awesome Concert!!! I'm thinking about buying the DVD of the concert. I love his energy!!!

He`s a Catholic, a Hindu, and atheist, a Jain,
a Buddhist, and a Baptist, and a jew
And he knows he shouldn`t kill, and he knows he always will,
kill you for me, my friend, and me for you.

Hi Letty.... I'm assuming that this is a musical question, so I'm assuming that it's the name of a song?? Something like "Who Do You Love?"... ???

Peace and love, no, not a song, a poem, but they are so often interchangeable..

ah, Boo. Great guess, but this poet is male. Love Elizabeth Barrett Browning, however.

You know, Boo. So strange that you would guess the sonnets from the Portugese. So long ago, I quoted Browning , "My Last duchess"...I have a heart too soon made glad. Still do.
