OK... New Question......

here's the lyrics.......

(I think this song was recorded by several different groups, but according to what I'm reading, this is the version that was on Jefferson Airplane's "Takes Off", their first album.)

Love is but a song we sing,
Hear a way we die.
You can make the mountains ring,
Hear the angels cry.
Tho' the dove is on the wing
You need not know why.

Hey, people now,
Smile on your brother.
Let me see you get together,
Love one another right now.

Some will come and some will go,
We shall surely pass.
When the wind that left us here,
Returns for us at last.
We are but a moment's sunlight,
Fading on the grass.

Hey, people now,
Smile on your brother.
Let me see you get together,
Love one another right now.

Hey, people now,
Smile on your brother.
Let me see you get together,
Love one another right now.

If you hear the song I'm singing,
You will understand.
You hold the key to love and fear,
All in your trembling hand.
One key unlocks them both, you know,
It's at your command.

.......name that tune..... and, name the author.....

Little Miss Dynamite..... Brenda Lee

New Question......

here's the lyrics......

Imagine me and you, I do
I think about you day and night, it's only right
To think about the girl you love, and hold her tight
So ___________.

If I should call you up, invest a dime
And you say you belong to me, and ease my mind
Imagine how the world could be, so very fine
So ___________.

I can't see me loving nobody but you
For all my life
When you're with me
Baby the skies'll be blue
For all my life

.......name that tune.......

Q == The Boxtops recorded a song called "The Letter". It was also recorded by a UK rock star, who had a very distinctive and gravely voice and a little of help from his friends

You took the toaster when you went
You never paid your half the rent
You took the spices from the rack
But you don't have to put 'em back
'Cause in your haste on_________
You left your camera on the bed
Where we played roles in black and white
You left a roll of black and white
I set the timer, thought of you
Put the lens up to my head
I took a photograph for you
What comes out gray is really red

song title, author, singer, whatever....

New Question.......

here's the lyrics.......

Every morning I would see her waiting at the stop
Sometimes she'd shop and she would show me what she bought
All the people stared as if we were both quite insane
Someday my name and her's are going to be the same

-Words and Music by Gerry Goffin and Jack Keller
If you've found another guy
Who satisfies you more than I do
Run to him, I'll step aside
If you think his lips can kiss you
Better than my lips can kiss you
Run to him, forget my pride
If someone else's arms can hold you
Better than my arms can hold you
Go to him and show to him all your emo-oh-tion
If someone else can make you
Happier than I can make you
Run to him, my tears will dry
If someone else's arms can hold you
Better than my arms can hold you
Go to him and show to him all your emo-oh-tion
If someone else can make you
Happier than I can make you
Run to him, my tears will dry
If it's me you want to love you
I'll be more than glad to love you
Hold you till your life is done
But, darling, if I'm not the one
Then run to him
