New Question.....

here's the lyrics.....

I've got no kick againt modern jazz,
Unless they try to play it too darn fast,
And change the beauty of the melody,
Until they sounded like a symphony,
That's why I go for that ___________.

Hi edgar --

is the answer to "Walk On The Wild Side".... Lou Reed????

New Question.....

here's the lyrics.....

Well the first days are the hardest days
Don't you worry any more
'Cause when life looks like easy street
There is danger at your door
Think this through with me
Let me know your mind
Wo oh, what I want to know
Is are you kind?

.......name that tune.......

I knew I would get you on Walk on the Wild Side. That is why I specified it came from the movie, starring Jane Fonda and Lawrence Harvey. Walk on the Wild Side went like this:

Sinner hear what I'm saying
Sinner You've been swinging not praying
One night of praying, six nights of fun
The odds against going to heaven six to one

Sung by Brook Benton. The producers tried to hire Ray Charles, but Ray said it was not his kind of music.

Uncle John's Band - The Grateful Dead

I thought you knew
You were all the world to me
All my dreams come true
Now I stand crying all night long
I stand crying all night long
Crying wishing you'd come back to me
Think of all the dreams we knew
Now you're gone they won't come true

Artist and song title please.
