So I have black hair, white skin, and black eyes. I have a really hard time finding a formal dress that I like, so I'm considering renting a formal dress, so I want to know what colors will suit me?

If you look like one of the Corrs, you can wear anything.

Black will work wonders on you. Vermilion or Bordeaux red should also work, with matching make up.

I think you should go with black trousers with baby pink shirt with matching accessories. As you have got fair skin, black and pink would look fabulous on you. So just go for it.
I am sure, white dress will look pretty cool..
