A common question is, "Would you rather be ignorant and happy, or knowledgeable and miserable?" What I say to that is I would rather live in acceptance than in denial any day. Ignorance is NOT bliss. Ignorance is temporary bliss which leads to destruction. Being knowledgeable-accepting and understanding the depths of things- does in fact allow you to experience pain on a deeper level, but it also allows you to experience love on a deeper level as well. And upon feeling that level of love, you would NEVER trade that for ******* ignorance. *please excuse my passionate profanity*

@RisingToShine,
As Shakespeare put it....

'Tis better to have loved and lost,
than never to haved loved at all, and end up a f★★king ignoramus.
