I just want to see what other members of this forum think of this test and the results. Guam has consistantly ranked last or next to last in this test since I have been here. The department of uneducation here has made a plethora of excuses as to why Guam is at the bottom of the barrel. The teachers have made a good case for themselves placing the blame squarely on the administrators, and for the most part I believe them. How are things going in your part of the world?
A cute story from NH: one of my students was looking serious, so I asked what was up. She said she was worried about her SAT scores. I asked how she did. She said 720 and 680! I said what are you worried about? Those are great! She replied that I didn't understand - she took them twice and those were her totals! True!
