Mexico has set up a gay football league for homosexual players.
All match officials will also have to be gay, reports Mix Brazil.
The league is made up of five teams: The Clan, Fashion Team, The F***ers, G Strength and Your Mother.
They will compete for a cup and the chance to represent Mexico at the World Gay Football Championship.
What? No team named "Gay Caballeros"?
Thats it - I am off to Mexico....
But wait, I dont play football very well
Well, Gautam, as they say, if you can't be athletic, you can still go to the games and be an athletic supporter.
Trainers, Guatam, all those husky, sweaty, but oh-so-cute footballers are gonna need trainers, Mr. G . . .
I asked my good friend in Mexico and he has heard nothing about this. He suggests it's an early April Fool's joke.

Tarantulas, why do you have to be such a party pooper?
BBB
This isn't
that new at all:
there are some gay/lesbian football legues around the world, e.g. Gautam could have already joined this one
GFSN National League
At the Gay World Games in Sydney (2002), more than 100 lesbian and gay football teams from all the world took part.

Yes. I co-organized a gay/lesbian football tournament in the early 90's

Oh really? Then let's see a picture of one of the Mexican teams. Any one will do.
I've never been to Mexico, thus no picture.
And our papers here just reported the news, without picture as well. (Actually, we usually don't get photos from other Mexican football matches as well.)
So, either you believe the football magazines/news paper reports or your friend.
