Today in Greece, it rained a little fish after a water spout sucked the little critters into the air....
something fishy
Wasn't that the name of a song?
Oh, never mind. The song was, "It's Raining Men"!
(k - opa! be what the greeks say when a plate, intentionally or unintentionally, is broken. opa!
okay, never mind...)
gotcha p-dog!
Phoenix, that song is funny!
Pueo - yikes!
Weather Channel person: ... and we predict a 40% chance of mackeral over the Eastern seaboard.

Ill just stay in
Hahaha, can you just see it, being rushed to an ER with a swordfish sticking through your head.....

Imnever leaving the house again
<giggles>
Hmmmm...is it raining fish? Is it a mouse or a man? Tough questions for a late Wednesday night. Where's Kafka when you need him?
Cass, stay in, it's safer.
Diane - Kafka - you're right, he'd be good to have in this conversation.
Good thing is is not "---coming down like cats & dogs--" as another saying goes.
hmmmmm
and the natives are becoming incoherent....

sealpoet is just offering you an ouzo toast. you may or may not add a bit of water to your ouzo -- though, 'cuz it'll turn milky if you do, there's no way to cut it surreptitiously. now, you say ya-sou, too, slam your glass on the table, and down it. really, are you such a neophyte to the customs of 55-year-old greek men?
yes I am....
ya-sou <slam>
aaaahhhhh, thanks.
I have had ouzo before - very sweet, no? And licorice flavored....?
