Show Ticker

Hi,
I have accidently clicked on the “hide ticker” button and now I cannot get it back as there is no “show ticker” button.
It appears if I reduce screen size but I would like it to be as before.
How can I get it back?

Have you looked in your preferences settings to see if you can fix it there? It is the icon in the upper right corner of any FB page and looks like a gear wheel.
